- 1 cup water
- 1 cup Demerara sugar
- ¼ cup organic molasses
- ½ tsp. organic ground ginger
- ½ tsp. organic ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. organic ground cloves
Instructions
- Add the water and Demerara sugar to a pot over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves (~5 minutes).
- Once the sugar has dissolved, add the molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Stir, cover with a lid, and then let it cook for 15 minutes.Â
- Strain your syrup into a clean, airtight mason jar or glass pouring container.Â
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.Â
