Lavender Simple Syrup

  • ½ cup Demerara sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup organic lavender flowers


  1. Add the water and Demerara sugar to a pot over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves (~5 minutes).
  3. Once the sugar has dissolved, add the lavender flowers.
  4. Stir, cover with a lid, and then let cook for 5 minutes. 
  5. Remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes.
  6. Strain your syrup into a clean, airtight mason jar or glass pouring container. 
  7. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
