Momentum. $1,750 a month.
Everything, while we build. A progressive buildout of three to four pages a month, full structure and machine-readable layer, your Google Business Profile dialed in, one researched authority piece a month (a blog post, a site FAQ, etc), and quarterly reporting.

The price follows the work. $1,750 while we create. $599 while we defend. Most buildouts finish in about six months, and when yours does, the price steps down on schedule. We may be the only vendor you’ll ever have whose bill goes down on time. No contract at either level. Cancel anytime. And if you ever just want the lights kept on, we’ll keep them on.

How we work

Month by month, on purpose. We build three to four pages a month instead of dumping everything at once. Each page gets real attention, the early pages show us what’s working so the later ones get smarter, and Google rewards a site that publishes consistently far more than one that launched big and went quiet. Your site stays visibly alive every single month. And because the work never runs ahead of the money, nobody needs a contract.

You always know what shipped. Every month, a quick note listing exactly what went live. Every quarter, a brief report with the fun stuff: search trends, calls and directions from your Google profile, and screenshots of what the AI engines actually say when someone asks about your kind of business in your market.

No guarantees. Receipts instead. We don’t promise rankings, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. We show you the work, show you the numbers, and make it easy to leave. That’s how we’ve kept clients for nearly two decades.

MAVEN is our local marketing agency. MAVEN Gravity is where we build and run your website. MAVEN Top Banana is where we do your social media marketing to keep your feeds full. Our own hometown media platforms run on this very stack, so we host and grow your site the exact same way we host and grow ours.

Behind it all is SPYR, our brand agency since 2009, where our favorite work has always been the long haul: sites like The Minimalists and Kidney Stone Diet that we’ve shaped month after month as they grew.

How much does MAVEN Gravity cost?
$599/mo or $1,750/mo, depending on whether your site needs someone behind it or a full buildout. Buildouts start at $1,750/mo and automatically step down to $599/mo when the build is done. One flat number, no hidden fees, no contract. No surprises.

Is there a contract?
No. Every plan is month to month and you can cancel anytime. We pace the work to the payments, so nobody ever needs to be locked in.

What happens when the buildout is done?
The price goes down. Momentum steps down to Motion when the build completes, usually around month six. You keep everything we built, and we keep it current.

Can you host the site I already have?
Yes. We migrate it onto our platform and you won’t notice a thing. Sites on template platforms like Wix or Squarespace get rebuilt in parallel and switched over when the new one is ready, usually within a few weeks.

I have more than one location or business.
Additional properties are $399/mo each on the Motion plan, with one report covering all of them. (Momentum is always $1,750/mo)

Do you do social media?
That’s MAVEN Top Banana, our done-for-you social media marketing, and it’s a separate service with its own pricing. Top Banana is for when you want the feed full every week.

Do you work with businesses outside Chicago?
Yep! We’ve honed our chops making hyperlocal content for our Top Bananas all over the country. We’ve planned, shot, edited, and posted over 20,000 videos in the past few years, that’s proven that our method works everywhere.

What is generative engine optimization?
Generative engine optimization (GEO), sometimes called SEO for AI or AI search optimization, is the work of making your website easy for AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Muse, and Perplexity to find, understand, and cite when they answer a question. Traditional SEO gets a page ranked in a list of links. GEO gets your business named in the answer. Every MAVEN Gravity site is built for both.

How much does generative engine optimization cost?
GEO agencies typically charge $2,000 to $5,000 a month for a focused program, and $10,000 to $25,000 or more at the larger firms. MAVEN Gravity builds it into the site itself instead of selling it as a separate service: $1,750/mo is your buildout (Momentum), then $599/mo (Motion) keeps your site current. The price steps down when the build is done.

What does “built for AI” actually mean?
It means that when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, or Meta Muse AI a question in your world, your site is structured so the engine can read it, trust it, and quote it. The same structure is what lets an agent like Meta’s Muse book you instead of the business next door. Most sites aren’t ready for this new reality. A surprising number are accidentally blocking AI engines at the door and don’t know it.
